I was caught snuggling with another male. He’s such a cuddler.

Ryan got a job! It starts as a contract position, but his boss is already working on making it a permanent position. Go God! We celebrated.

It must be Charlie week this week! He was waiting for me to get home.
3-5-09

Can this be considered commuting together? That’s Ryan’s silver Mazda.
3-6-09

Wait: Is this a dream? Are my kids actually sitting down doing what they are supposed to be doing?
3-7-09

Charlie got shots today. He tried to talk me into getting him a Sonic burger because he behaved so well. Instead he settled for flirting with the lady in the next car.

What a sweetheart! I can’t believe that she is almost four years old. She was only 18 months old when I first met her. She sure is a ray of sunshine!

I’m so excited! It’s Dancing with the Stars time again. And all I have to say is OMG! Holly from the Girls Next Door and Michelle from the worst Bachelor ever! It couldn’t get any better. I’m actually glad Jewel and Nancy had to step down (not glad they got hurt though). I have a feeling this season is going to be really competitive. There goes me getting anything productive done on Monday nights!

We sing this song with the kids at church on Sunday. The chorus goes like this:
My God is so Big,
So strong, and so Mighty.
There’s nothing my God cannot do!
It really is cute (with hand motions and all). Today I sit here as God has yet again proven that there is nothing impossible for Him. One week ago, Ryan was laid off. Today, he started a new job.
This is completely crazy in this economy. It starts off as a contractor position, but his boss is already putting in the paperwork to make it permanent. It is a true testimony to God’s faithfulness and how awesome my husband is. People that meet Ryan, respect Ryan for who he is. Within days of notifying his colleagues, past co-workers, and past clients, one was calling to snatch him up! This is someone he worked with almost over a year ago.
What an impression he must have made! Then again, it is not news to me that people find him so amazing. I’ve been in on the secret for a while now. He loved his first day, and honestly hated his old job and the environment. This has truly been a blessing in disguise. There’s nothing our God cannot do!

Hello there pretty flowers. I only wish they were a brighter yellow.

They have such a tough life, let me tell you.

I got this card in the mail from my mom today. It is the sweetest card I have ever gotten. I think I’m going to keep it up year round!

Wow. These things really are pink. Not a great birthday present.

I got sick my first full week of school, so the kids had a sub on Friday. Wal-phed did not do the trick. My nose is still a little runny a week later.

I got Jenn these scented dry erase markers. I was trying to smell the chocolate mint through my stopped up nose. That did not work very well either. And I’m sure the crazed look on my face is just the cold meds talking.

This little boy is in our Sunday school class at church. I had never seen a kiddo put playdough on their finger to make a puppet. He’s too creative. He also is really sweet. I told him to be praying for me over the week because the kids in my kindergarten class do not always make good choices, and it makes me sad. He got the most serious face and said in the most serious tone, “Oh, I will pray for you every night Ms. Brooke.”
