Butterflies in my Tummy-Updated

July 21st

So, I made it! My interview went really well. I made the whole group laugh out loud a couple of times, and I feel like they got a chance to really get to know me more.  The part that really affirmed me was towards the end of the interview. The team lead looked at me and said, “That was a really good interview. You did a really good job.” The best part about that comment is that the team lead wants to hire the student teacher they had last semester. So it really made me feel good. And for those of you who are wondering, from what I hear, the student teacher doesn’t have a good chance of getting the position.

They are hoping to make a decision within the next few days. Be watching for updates. I will let you know more when Jennifer calls me with the inside scoop! In the meantime, take a look around my new blog. It’s still a work in progress, but I hope you will enjoy!

Thank you so much for all of your prayers. I wasn’t nervous at all during the interview, but now I am so excited that I have butterflies in my tummy. Let’s see what God has planned.

Update: I have a second interview tomorrow at 8am. They will most likely make their decision before lunch. The win-win of it all is that they are trying to help find positions for the teachers that do not get the job at this school. Either way it looks good. I’ll update again tomorrow. Thank you so much for all of your prayers!
